Praying for Laws to End Human Trafficking

In just a few short days on February 1st in the United States it will be “National Freedom day. ” Abraham Lincoln signed the 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution that outlawed any and all forms of slavery.

Now almost 150 years later slavery is the third largest criminal activity in the World. This week our prayers will be turned to laws, enforcement and justice to happen around the World to bring the 27 million people freedom.

  1. Laws: That Biblical laws will be enacted around the World for Freedom.
  2. Enforcement: The laws that have been established to bring freedom to people will be enforced and corruption will be unable to stop freedom.
  3. Justice: That people will have justice in their freedom and traffickers will not have any power over the people they enslaved.

“All those who sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all those who sinned under the law will be judged by the law. For the hearers of the law are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be declared righteous”

Romans 2:12-13

Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Deuteronomy 16:19

Thank you all for taking time to pray for the end of human trafficking. We are praying for you to have more of God’s presence in your life.
